Heartbeat’s effort to build respect and critical understanding starts with our youth musicians and reverberates throughout their communities and society-at-large. To create widespread social change that transforms conflict, we need YOU.

There are many ways to get involved with Heartbeat, whether as a youth musician, volunteer, intern, musician, activist, or educator. Industry or Musician Support 

We welcome the support of industry experts and professional musicians to help amplify our work and offer in-kind support, motivate our young people, and offer training or guest classes. Motivate Young People and Model Constructive Collaboration –

As we try to shift the narratives and show what respectful dialogue and collaboration look like, having role models is critical. We seek professionals musicians or members of the music industry who can offer live performances, collaborations with famous artists, TV features, radio interviews, travel opportunities and/or recording time to support our young musicians.

Turn up Our Volume

While one person using violence or seeking to spur hate can easily garner the attention of worldwide media, the much larger majority of peace-seekers are often struggling to be heard. Heartbeat uses music to build respect by amplifying voices from this majority, but we need to get even louder. With your help, we can help inspire people to think differently and let the whole world know that a better way is possible.
